“Can you purchase a prepaid sim card from a carrier and use that rather than being tied down by a contract?”

This question is for: Apple - 12.9-Inch iPad Pro (4th Generation) with Wi-Fi + Cellular - 256GB (Unlocked) - Space Gray

From what I understand it cannot be a sim that has voice calling on it. I was told that only data sim will work so if the sim you're looking into id for data only it will work. I have a data only sim in mine and its working fine

That is what I use when traveling outside US. BE AWARE it used the smallest sim
