Yes definitely to all. The keyboard sold with is is pricey, but such a great addition!

I have the Kindle, Nook, and Apple Books apps along with my local library’s app. All work great! Yes, you can use a separate keyboard with this. I’m not sure about the tax program but I’m guessing there’s an app for that, too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The iPad would serve as a great E/reader, but you may want to check what software you’ll be using for taxes. As, you can only use the web browser and download the apps for things like turbo tax, H&R Block and things of that sort. Also apple has a great attachable keyboard. Hope this helps.
