• I purchased the version that has Wi-Fi+cellular. The difference is that with the cellular feature you are able to go to your cellular service provider and get a SIM (add a data line to your plan) and have internet access in areas where you might not have access to Wi-Fi. When you do connect to Wi-Fi, however, by default you will be switched off of the cellular in favor of the Wi-Fi connection. I love having the flexibility of being able to always be connected via my IPAD. I just hop on it wherever I am and I have internet! That is the difference. The Wi-Fi version only will have internet access once you have connected to a Wi-Fi connection.
