They recently changed their policy on gift card purchases. You cannot purchase ANY gift card, digital or physical, using a Best Buy gift card...I went through a bunch of b.s. to finally get an official answer, so don't waste your time. I'm assuming it has to do with scammers and such.

You cannot use Best Buy gift cards to purchase ITunes or other gift cards in store or online. Best Buy recently changed the policy.

That’s because Best Buy does not allow using a gift card to buy another gift card. I believe it’s that way with most retailers, unfortunately.

No can do. New policy at Best Buy. Can't use a gift card to buy a gift card. This was a big bummer for me as that's pretty much what I always used to do.

You will receive an e-mail from Best Buy once the order is approved. The redemption code is in the e-mail so you might have to check your spam box if it does not appear in your regular inbox. (Depends on your personal settings.
When you have the card #, you will redeem it at check out as there is an option beneath credit card information as alternative forms of payment.
