• The model I bought last week at Best Buy has the 4K Retina display, so the 3.0 processor is definitely the latest.

• Be careful , when at store call Apple Store and give them the serial number on side of box , bought one and even though it was 4K , retina , I5 and 3.0!.. was late 2015 ... and discontinued ... check box and serial always , also 2017 has gen 7 intel not like 2015 were intel is gen 4
