Yes this a early 2019 model, but don't buy it. Compared to their laptops, which use SSD drives, this iMac uses a painfully slow 5400RPM mechanical hard drive. It's virtually unusable.

Apple offers several different options and those include a fusion drive, which is a combination of a SSD (Solid State Drive) and a traditional platter. It is better than the standard drive. Even better is going 100% SSD. Apple offers two options. But if you want to save a little money, just add your own external SSD Drive. Make certain it is a USB-C drive, not the older USB-A. USB-C is much faster. Samsung makes a 1TB T5 SSD which is great. It does not require an external power supply and just plugs in on the back of the Mac. You will need to reformat it as APFS using the built in Apple Disk Utility. Then load everything on that external SSD drive. Many people attach that drive with a piece of Velcro to the computer stand and you will never see it. It is a wonderful upgrade.
