• Apple's Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Keyboard that came with your iMac don't use batteries. You use a lightning cable and it plugs into the back. The cord you use for your iPhone. One end goes in the computer USB port and the other into the device. Keyboard charge port is on the back in the middle. Mouse has it on the bottom.

• The Wireless keyboard and mouse have internal batteries that are rechargeable. It comes with a charging cable that you plug into the USB in the back of the computer.
