• YES THE NEW IMAC DOES NOT HAVE THE T2 CHIP.I USE A EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE WITH THE Mac OS ON TO BOOT MY COMPUTER.I HAVE THE SAMSUNG X5,THE FASTEST EXTERNAL DRIVE TO DATE WITH THE Mac OS ON IT.THIS MAC SCORED 11000,POINTS HIGHER IN THE MULTI CORE TEST THAN LAST YEARS MODEL.
