• Yes , if your car has the appropriate plug-in socket. I travel for a living and ALWAYS. take a USB-lightning cable just in case the car doesn’t have a USB-C. Several of the newer models have had both USB and USB-C plug-ins

• Yes it will work with car play. I had no problems using it. Just plug in and it works.
