• I just bought one a couple weeks ago and I thought the same thing, but rest assured, its all there. Although I picked up and purchased in-store, the website assures you of what it comes with as well, under the "What's included" section.

• Yes, it is made by Apple. Best Buy does not supply the product photos, the manufacturers supply them. Also, this product is a charger.
