• You cannot listen using a cable with these headphones. Apple has not released a USB-C to 3.5mm cable yet as of writing this. 9/28/24

• If you get type C 2nd gen, you can connect to new iPhone or Mac’s that have type C for wired connection as well

• Wired listening is done through USBC connection from phone to headphones. Your phone should recognize it as headphones

• The literature that came with them said you cannot use them while charging the battery, so I guess that means you can't use them wired.

• yes, they have a $9 adapter on the apple website, USB-C to 3.5mm

• They don’t support wired connection with the new usb-c version. They have an older model that is a Lightning version that does support wired though
