yes actually you can swipe up to your central control and it something called share audio

One phone at a time but can connect to multiple devices and be used.

Not sure what you mean for example left on one phone right on another? I don’t believe that would be possible however they can be paired to two different phones and they will connect when needed on the fly for example pair to both devices once both are connected to the AirPods he would just need to press play then stop the music grab the other device press play and they would continue to function on that device as well
