• Girl what? Hey Siri doesn't need ios 12, and if you don't already have ios 12 on your phone by now...I honestly don't know what you're doing.

• Hey Siri will work on these AirPods but not the 1st generation ones. On iPhone you need iPhone 6s or later unless you are on a charger.
