A:AnswerIt’s possible someone reset it. To reset it all you have to do is twist the back off and remove the battery four times and each time push the battery down and it chirps. Once reset it will make a different tone sound. I honestly believe someone reset it
A:AnswerYes, as long as another iPhone or iPad is within range it will continue to ping devices and update its location. Once you get closer you can have it play a sound to audibly track down your tag.
