“How long is the battery life? Can it be turned off/on remotely to save/extend the battery life? I have some some very expensive construction equipment I'm looking to use this for. TIA for the help.”

• It states on the documentation with them that the batteries last approx. 1 year checking several times a day every day. They take a CR2032 button battery.

• According to Apple, the batteries should last about one year.

• I’ve heard the battery lasts for up to about 1 year, and they are very easy to change the battery out
