• Unlimited because of use the location services on every Apple products on the planet. I pinged my sister in Texas and In in New York

• It has a wide range and has a battery with a 1 year battery life so you can rely on it for a long time! The apple website will give you detailed range information for the AirTags along with warranty and how to use directions

• For precision tracking it can do as far away as 70ft if you have an iPhone 11 or 12 model, for general location on the map, it can do up to 800ft away on the find my map.
