Yes, as long as another iPhone or iPad is within range it will continue to ping devices and update its location. Once you get closer you can have it play a sound to audibly track down your tag.

I don’t know this for sure but it should, it locates thru all the iphones in the area your item is.  It works through your find my iphone App!

Yes it should work. It won’t work while you’re on airplane mode but once you land it will start tracking. I used it on my trip from Texas to California. I also left one behind to track my car while I was away and it kept me updated on the location.

You have to be close to it for it to work but it will save its last known location
