“Can the apple air tracker be used with an android phone?”

• Unfortunately, it can’t be used with android phone at this moment. Some tech articles said Apple may extend its features to Android in the future.

• Yes and No. You must use apple iPhone or iPad to setup and sync to your icloud account. I had to by a used iPhone 8 and update the ios because I use a Google pixel phone and my company iPhone has the Bluetooth feature locked down by It administration. However it was is to setup and once done I can also use my andriod or PC to login into my icloud account and track it. This is really the main negative I have was during during setup.
