Does this product work with the Iphone 11? null

I bought Apple AirPods to pair with my iPhone 7 which went fine. Then I tried to pair AirPods and my iMac that I bought 18 months ago. Hard to believe that a computer that new won’t be compatible with the AirPods. As usual Apple makes a product that won’t work with an older Apple Product.. I guess they expect me to spend another $1199 on a new computer to work with the $159 AirPods. Bought my computer from Best Buy after the Apple Store told me that they couldn’t transfer my iTunes music to a new iMac. The Geek Squad took care of that. I am finished with Apple products.
