• Yes, you can! With one click on the control you pause/play, with two clicks you skip the song and with three clicks you start over. You can even take pictures pressing the button while the iPhone is on camera mode.

• Yes they can. They come with directions in the box but, you hit the center of the control on the right earbud cord to do all of the functions. Very easy.

• I think you can only pause/play songs + change the volume. I don't think you can skip songs, unfortunately.
