Will these work with iPad 12.9 3rd generation? null

It will just check Apple web site or your nearest Best buy for the lightning or usb-c adapter it seems to cost around 9.95. That should solve your issues of connection.

Since I do not have an iPad I cannot answer that question, however the volume control on mine quit working after the 14 day return period.
