if you have movistar in brazil for a fact it will. if you use any other company with CDMA technology (chip) you should be fine, if it is GSM will work but perhaps not with all features. I had one phone with GSM technology and worked well in CDMA and now i have CDMA working fine with GSM... this unlocked phone works ANYWHERE

Yes it's unlocked for any carrier you will be good to use this device anywhere realistically
