The speaker can be used with any tv HOWEVER you need to run a newer APPLE TV box. So your Roku box won’t work with the home pod unless you get an Apple TV, which then can be paired with the home pod.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The short answer is no. HomePods and HomePods Mini are wifi only speakers and don't have blu tooth, optical, or HDMI. You would have to ditch your Roku and get an Apple TV 4K from 2021 or 2022 and then pair your HomePods as the default audio out for the Apple TV. It's a fairly seemless setup but does require you to spend on an Apple TV 4K.
