• Yes and No. No, this device specifically does not require a service fee. BUT to use it best, it helps to have an Apple Music account which does have a fee. Its not useless without Apple Music, but its not its best.

• No, you don't have to pay a month charge for the HomePod. If your subscribe to Apple Music, there is a monthly charge.

• Not required, but if you want to use Apple Music, yes. If you already have Apple Music, then no. You can use this as an airplay speaker for other music sources if you don't want Apple Music .
