Depends on what you would be using it for. The iPad Pro has a stronger/faster processor, something useful for an artist or drafter. Also iPad Pro would run games smoother.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Ipad pro has quad speakers, faster processor, bigger screen. A little bit of anti-glare on the screen. If you don't care about these much, you don't need the pro. My wife and daughter both have the pro, and then I got this one. It works great and the pencil works really well with it. I have watched videos and played PubG, sent email, edited, you name it with both and the only thing was the 2 speaker configuration, which they are on the bottom near the charging port, and then I did have to turn some settings down to get PubG not to be as choppy, but all in all it's a great device- especially if you don't want to spend 3x or more the price. If you do use a pencil, I believe it is only compatible with the 1st gen one, btw.
