Does this model have a split screen? null

Yes you can use split screen with the 2018 ipad

It’s a single screen display. I’m not sure if there is a certain program out there with software that allows you to split the screen into two viewing areas.

As I used it only with Netflix I can double screen but in your notification emails it says it can double screen for word and safari search but have not tried it. But it says it can on certain apps.

It has split screen. Keep pressing the icon selected from the menu at the bottom. Then drag it on the screen. It will expand, Then size it as per needs.
