• The difference between a new iPad 128GB and an iPad Pro 256GB is about $370. (There is no current iPad Pro 128GB model.) More seriously, the main differences are camera (8MP versus 12MP), slightly better graphics, higher possible user storage on the Pro, and size. They use the same processor.

• iPad Pro has a faster processor, bigger screen, better camera (with flash) and other misc bells and whistles. If you’re not looking for fancy this iPad is a good alternative. Both are compatible with the Apple Pencil.

• The pro also supports usb 3.0 the 6th gen 2018 ipad does not.
