• This is the latest one. Typically Apple releases a new version around March, but currently this is the latest one available.

• Yes this is the latest iPad mini and there's no word on a newer iPad mini being released anytime soon.

• The iPad Mini 4 is the latest. Know that folio covers for the iPad Mini1,2,3 do not fit the Mini 4. There are no signs that a replacement is coming soon.

• I was told by a salesperson at a Verizon store that Apple is no longer making any more Minis. I do believe I heard that also, because of the sizes of the new phones being made that are getting bigger and bigger.
