“I just read two conflicting answers to whether or not this specific product has a built in and working GPS with Wi-Fi only. My son is a pilot and will need the GPS to be able to use it in his plane. Please clarify.”

• The Wi-Fi only version does not have a built in GPS receiver. If the aircraft has a compatible GPS source the iPad can connect to that. If the aircraft is equipped with ADS-B the iPad can also connect to most of those units as well.
