Q: QuestionI have an IPhone 8 with appx 1 yr left on conract. I want to get the IPhone 11 and give my daughter this one all under Verizon svc. Can I do that if I purchase it from Best Buy? Also, can I transfer Everything as well as my # to the 11 and re-set my 8?

• A:Answer Yes, she can use your iPhone 8. You need to first transfer your information from your old device using Bluetooth (comes with the phone / software). Your daughter will need to create/login using her own apple ID after (iPhone 8).

• A:Answer Unfortunately even if your 7 was in perfect condition you still wouldn't get much for it as a trade in. Some carriers like Verizon have a calculator on their website you can use to gauge the value for trade-ins but my advice would be to keep it as a backup to have on hand in case a situation arose in which you needed it.
