• Yes, my previous phone was paid in full as well. Yes you will be charged an upgrade fee of $40, basically it’s for the activation of the phone not necessarily an upgrade fee. They will tell you it’s upgrade fee, that’s what they told me last week when I went into to purchase a phone through them.

• Depends on your carrier, but I had to pay Verizon a $40 upgrade fee for mine.

• Yes Verizon will still charge you the fee. They claim it’s for administrative costs (not a fan of the fee since I rarely contact or deal with Verizon and activate my own devices from home...even when I purchase from BB).
