“I bought this phone brand new & unlocked. I tried switching my sprInt sim into this phone & its not working. I noticed the SIM card that came with this brand new phone was Verizon. Should that be a factor as to why it’s not working or it shouldn’t matter”

No, I tried the same thing with the one I bought for my daughter for my Metro PCS account. I switched the SIM cards and it did not work so I took it to the Metro store and they did it for me for $16 and some change.
