You can block a number from your Contacts list or in Recents in your calls list. It’s at the bottom of the number listing in both places in red print. I’m not sure if it will block your notifications or messages from that number or not. My last phone was an Android and I still got notifications and voice messages from numbers I had blocked, but it did not ring for blocked numbers.
