• Yes. It is raised both in the front and back not perfectly so it is not bulky.

• It is slightly raised enough to protect the screen and engineered to have the minimalistic approach. Keep in mind please invest in a protective glass if at all possible. A light drop in the dirt vs light drop out of a window on concrete make a big difference. I invested in a glass screen protector as I am horrible with phones.
