A:Answer I had a carrier and Best Buy set the phone up for my carrier. I didn't want an unlocked phone because then I would have to set it up myself before I could use the phone. In the store I saw where they can set up the phones they sell with any major carrier (ATT, T Mobile, Verizon, etc.)
