- Answer If you get it unlocked it will definitely work. I just hooked up one today and all you gotta have. Is the correct SIM kit for the phone? And then purchase the prepaID Card from Walmart. Star 611 call that follow the prompts on the card to activate it. Give him the numbers on the new phone and you're good to go.
