“Do you charge any upgrade fee for ATT iPhone 6? I am an existing AT&T customer. I want to buy an IPhone 6 16GB to upgrade from my current phone and I am prepared for a 2 year contract extension. I am out of contract now. Buying though apple store adds an an extra $40.00 as a one time upgrade fee.”

Best Buy does not charge upgrade fees, but you may be assessed an activation or upgrade fee by your carrier.

Upgrade but do not choose a 2 year contract. Take the AT&T Next plan, no activation fee and no increase fee on your plan.

ATT - states that the phone is on discount and they will not void the 40.00 fee. If you own an iphone 5 you can trade it in and get 200.00 credit iphone 5s or c they give you 300

That is an AT&T charge. You might be able to go to AT&T and get them to waive it but that would have to be done by them not apple. Apple is just the phone and the charges is AT&T

Yes, you will have to pay the $40 upgrade fee anywhere you buy it from. That's what AT&T is charging :/
