• Go online and look at the grovemade bumper. It's made out of walnut or maple and looks killer.

• Go with the Speck CandyShell or CandyShell Grip. You could also try the Otterbox Symmetry series. They had minimal bulk, are sturdy cases, and they will protect the phone without weighing it down.

• Take a look at rokform. They have some nice cases, and are Made in USA. I have had one for a couple years on my iPhone 4S. I really like the lanyard for when I am taking pictures in an odd spot .

• I bought a silicone case from eforCity on Bestbuy.com for $4.59 and it looks just as nice and protects just as well as far more expensive cases. But remember, the "best" case is the one that YOU like best, so find what you believe is the best combination of price, looks, and protection. For me, I'm 100% satisfied with my $4.59 bargain.
