sadly no is not free but again dont be fool. the terms of it change you might end up getting nothing depending on the phone your going to trade in. i had the 4g i got only $118 i used it to pay part of the new upgrade. also be carefull they dont add on things you dont want on your plan. if you all ready have an unlimited plan your better off keeping the plan and getting the phone at fuil price.
