• yes, you may purchase the phone up front, pay a portion and finance the balance and then pay that amount off anytime without a penalty

• You have to be with ATT, pay the tax first and the upgrade or new member fee whatsoever and then the datas, taxes. You can pay off the phone fast its up to you.
