What's the difference between a Ipone 8 and the 8S? null

iPhone 8s doesn’t exist. 8Plus gives you a bigger screen, louder speakers, better camera.

I’m guessing you mean the 8 plus, since there is no 8s model. In addition to the larger size, the 8 plus has a dual camera lens, one of which has image stabilization; a larger battery that allows longer claimed run times; some photographic capabilities allowed by the dual lenses. But it won’t fit in your shirt pocket!

The size of the phone and the screen is the only difference I see.

The 8S has new artificial intelligence that allows you to open apps and send texts by just thinking about it. The more you use it, the smarter it gets. Very cool tech!
