Are the corners reinforced for drop protection? null

Not really but the leather is very stiff and unbendable. So you need try not dropping it.

No.. but the leather is sufficient even on concrete the leather took the impact while the phone stayed intact.

They are leather covers which seem to be more than enough cover for waist high drops

From small drops yes, like standing up from a chair and it hits the floor. This does not have Otter-box type of protection.
