• Sometimes when your purchase the equipment from Verizon they’ll require old plans to be updated to new ones but if you purchase the phone outside of them, then there’ll be no changes to your plan

• It’s pretty crazy but they’ll charge you a one-time $40.00 upgrade fee. They DON’T transfer your data or help you set it up, or do anything but take your money. Quite different from the “New every two...” when they valued customer loyalty. Sadly it’s now increased revenue regardless of value or tenure.
