“Is there any provision made on the iPhone X for the continued use of fingerprint ID. Or is it all going to have to be face recognition? I use the fingerprint ID with most all the Apps that will except it.”

Almost all of those apps will support Face ID instead of Touch ID! All of the apps I use have been supported. Good luck!
