I am sure that you can use your BestBuy credit card to purchase iPhone XS Max ($1,099) and yet keep your current carrier (cricket). Make sure to ask BestBuy Apple sales associate if there is any promotion going on financing. I believe during holiday season, they offer 18 months free financing on large purchases. However, keep in mind, you need to pay off before promotion expires (within 18 months). So I would crunch numbers first to see if you can budget $1,099 within 18 months or so to pay off. Easy way to pay off is just to make minimum amount due plus $61.06 for next 18 months to make sure that you can take advantage of free financing.
