- Answer Your device must have a Lightning connector. This adapter will pass audio to TV monitor. If you have a dedicated headphone jack or Bluetooth, ear buds should work.

- Answer I use it with the iPhone 11 Plus to watch Netflix and others. It works very well and better than expected. I have not used it with FaceTime but it should work fine as it mirrors your phone on your tv. I am not sure at this time what aspect ratio you will get on FaceTime.
