Yes. And it worked well. I had my headsets i use with my iPod and used the dongle on my iPhone 7.

Yes, it comes with the same manual as iPhones but smaller. I believe its for warranties and safety.

Yes - it comes in official Apple packaging, etc. It cost me about $10, which is typical high Apple pricing, but I can live with it.
