Not worth it. It only cost 10 bucks when I bought it. A plan would not be worth it.

Why bother with protection plan on adapter. Its cheaper to get another if lost or broken.

Not that I know of, I don't think that there is a protection plan for accessories. I'd probably ask the folks in store.
