• I don’t quite understand the question. But, I’ll answer with all scenarios to see if I was able to answer your question anyway. Apple AirPods are wireless, so I don’t see how the 3.5mm lighting adapter would come into play. AirPods connect via Bluetooth allowing for no wiring. So this 3.5mm adapter connector would be obsolete. No need for it. Hope this answers your question.
