Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, this just allows you to connect a audio cable to your recent iPhone (7 and newer) because Apple removed the standard headphone jack. To charge your ApplePencil 1, insert it’s lightning connector into your iPad’s lightning port. If your iPad is newer and uses a USB -C port, then the ApplePencil 1 isn’t compatible with it and you need the Apple Pencil v2.
